Help for Haiti

Although the news may no longer be reporting round the clock about what is going on in Haiti, there are certainly continuing efforts to raise money for the people effected by the earthquake. That included the Ricky Martin Foundation, which is working closely with Habitat for Humanity to help rebuild the island nation.
Thank you to those who made the RMFHaiti Video possible
The RMFHaiti Video is possible only because of the generosity of the incredible artists who appear in the video and many “behind the scenes” warriors not listed here.

Because of each person’s donations of time, production resources, good will, positive energy and a lot of love, the Ricky Martin Foundation and Habitat for Humanity were able to create a united call-to-action to raise awareness and funds with three goals in mind: Rebuild hope. Rebuild homes. Rebuild Haiti.

Now, we need your help.
Visit website to get involved or donate online any amount you can to the RMF/HFH Haiti Recovery Fund.

Thank you,
Ricky Martin

Canadian artists - billed as young, but looking at the video, I'd have to say they were young and old alike - got together and put out a really nice song to raise money for the relief efforts in Haiti. Wavin' Flag is by K'naan, a young Canadian artist. Thanks to @Tigger7 for the video link! For more information or to donate, click here.

British artists also came together, singing the REM song Everybody Hurts to raise money for relief efforts. Honestly, I think this is the best of the group, for it is a fantastic song, and they did it so well. To give money to help, click here.

Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones come together to record a new version of We Are The World, which was a fantastic effort when it first happened in 1985. This was the American effort, following the British group of pop and rock artists who came together to sing Do They Know It's Christmas? Unfortunately, We Are The World 2010 doesn't work very well for me, and seems more like a hot mess than a hot track. But if you like to donate, you can click here.
