Anthony Callea Tours With Whitney in 2010

Anthony Callea, one of my favorite singers, is scheduled to support Whitney Houston on the Australian leg of her world tour. The dates are as follows:
Feb 22 : Brisbane (Entertainment Centre)
Feb 24 : Sydney (Acer Arena)
Feb 27 : Hunter Valley (Hope Estate Winery)
Mar 01 : Melbourne (Rod Laver Arena)
Mar 04 : Adelaide (Entertainment Centre)
Mar 06 : Perth (Members Equity Stadium)
Mar 07 : Perth (Members Equity Stadium)

Anthony earned his place on this tour singing brilliantly, like in this live performance of When You Believe from Prince of Egypt. Even live, that voice just makes me happy.

Wish I lived where it wouldn't be a 14 hour flight... For more information about the tour and Anthony, click here for his official website.

  2. Anon, I can't say especially live, as I have yet to get the chance other than via YouTube. But I remain hopeful I get the chance one day to hear that glorious voice live.

And I also hope the third album is coming!

  7. Hey. I live in Sydney and had the good fortune to see Anthony and Whitney in concert last Sat night Feb 27, at Hope Estate winery. Both performers were fantastic. Anthony is amazing in concert.
As for Whitney, she has sufferred unfair negative press here in Australia on her tour, which makes me angry as it is mostly undeserved. Whitney gave her all, sang brilliantly, the 13,000 strong crowd went crazy and obviously loved her performnance.
