5 on the fifth #8

Stephen Chapman has the blog State of the Nation UK, where he has the fascinating feature, 5 on the fifth.
Welcome to "5 on the fifth", a monthly posting that benefits from audience participation. You take 5 photographs on the 5th of the month (or the days leading up to the 5th) - post a comment here You can take 5 random pictures or follow my suggested theme, which this month is: City life

A recent trip to New York City supplies these shots. I love visiting New York. I lived there once, and took very few pictures. Now when I visit, I have a tough time keeping my camera in the case. And a man in rural Delaware will at best do town, maybe village. Hmmm, I don't think I've ever taken shots of this little town, now I think I must do that.

Random building on 23rd street.

The hotel fire escape.

Just outside of Bryant Park.

Michael Rivers, thank you. I will try to remind you next month.

David, Yes, I live that one too. I was on the hotel balcony at 6AM, and saw him on the street.
