I thought it was a great halftime show, and it was great to see Roger looking so good at 65 years of age, and Pete not too bad either for 64. I have to admit I am a huge fan of the band, and have quite the crush on Daltrey. For the past several years, Daltrey and Townshend have been touring with Simon Townshend (rhythm guitar), Pino Palladino (bass), Zak Starkey (drums) and John "Rabbit" Bundrick (keyboards). It is a bit of a family affair, with Simon Townshend being Pete's little brother and Zak Starkey is the son of Beattles drummer Ringo Starr. So here they are, singing a medley of their greatest hits.

David, I agree, I thought it was fan-freakin-tastic.
ReplyDeleteI know you are a fan of Roger Daltrey - he was quite a fit specimen in his days. The band still rocks - what great classics!
ReplyDeleteSteveA, yes, I have a slightly un-natural preoccupation with Mr. Daltrey. LOL
