Heirat (Married) • Cabaret

cabaret-soundtrack-j2130b

Today I will be attending the wedding of my nephew, and taking pictures. So I thought it was only right I would start the day with a truly lovely song by John Kander & Fred Ebb, from the musical Cabaret. The title of the song is "Heirat", German for married. The audio for this clip was taken from the 1986 London production of the musical, featuring the vocals of Vivienne Martin and Oscar Quitak. The genius person who put together this video used clips from several classic Hollywood productions, including Way Out West (1937), That's Dancing (1990), The Ghost And Mrs. Muir (1947), Lady For A Day (1933), Bride Of Frankenstein (1935), Nosferatu (1922), African Queen (1951), Lili (1953), The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946), Benny & Joon (1988), Giant (1955), and Bell, Book & Candle (1958).

Hope you found it as charming as I did. Have a great day!
