Adore Delano is perhaps best known as a contestant on the sixth season of 'RuPaul's Drag Race', a television show looking to find the next drag superstar. But there were also diehard fans of American Idol who recognized as an early contestant on the seventh season of the singing competition. He was eliminated following an ill-planned version of Soft Cell's "Tainted Love". While on 'Drag Race', he spoke of trying to hide his gayness, in an effort to appeal to as many voters as possible. It didn't work.
Adore made it to the finale of 'RuPaul's Drag Race', only to be beaten out by Bianca del Rio. During the season, Adore took home three challenge wins. One reason who did so well was tied with the most by the eventual winner. One reason was just how strong the other dragtestants were, but also just how strong a voice he had, and how he could use it. Once the season was completed, Adore went into the studio to record some music, which, among other things, included "Party". The single, which is an ElectroPop song which also manages to course it up with the rough edge, as well as herself. The song also captures great Punk flavor, making something very much her own. I thought Adore managed to believe enegry minute she could.
