Backstreet Boys • Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)

Backstreet Boys

In honor of the continuing juggernaut that is the Summer Olympic Games in London, I bring to you "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)", the 1996 smash hit from the Backstreet Boys. The song, written by Swede Max Martin and Brit Herbie Crichlow, the song zoomed up the charts, making it to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. In the US alone, the song sold more than 2 million copies. The boys are, of course, A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell. Richardson had stepped away for a while, but has returned to the group, who are working on a new album.

For more about the Backstreet Boys, check out their official website. You can the purchase the song, appearing on the Hits - Chapter One album. It is available on both iTunes and Amazon.
