It is hard to believe that Barbra Streisand and Ryan O'Neal co-starred in a delightful madcap romp by the name of 'What's Up, Doc?' But it is true, as the comedy, directed by Peter Bogdanovich, was released to the movie theaters in 1972, forty-one years ago! The movie, a homage to the great Katherine Hepburn and Carrie Grant movie 'Bringing Up Baby', also included Madeline Kahn, Austin Pendleton, and Kenneth Mars in the cast. The opening credits featured Streisand singing "You're The Top", the song by the great Cole Porter that was originally heard in the classic show 'Anything Goes'.
Tough to beat that voice, isn't it?
Simply the best
