Things have a funny was of happening, at least some of the time. I had read a great review of the movie 'Yossi & Jagger', a film by Israeli director Eytan Fox. I purchased the DVD, and decided to watch it, and was pretty much blown away by it. It certainly made me a fan of the director, but there was also that enchanting theme song that I could not get out of my head. So I checked out the credits, and set about finding out more about this singer, Ivri Lider. I found and purchased "Bo (Let's)", and began my decade-long infatuation with Lider, who I often refer to as my future husband. I have purchased his music, as well as his most recent collaboration as part of The Yong Professionals. But back to the topic at hand. The next film I watched was Fox's 'Walk On Water', another mesmerizing film that blew me away. At the end of the film, once again Ivri Lider was involved with two songs, his solo song "Mary La'Netzach" ("Mary Forever"), as well as a special duet with Rita Kleinstein on "Cinderella Rockefella".

The song was written by Mason Williams and Nancy Ames, and was a big hit for Esther and Avi Ofarim in 1968. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I do!
