Robert Urban • Piéce en Forme de Habanera

I've been a fan of Robert Urban's music for some time, and anyone who knows me well knows I do love me a yummy rocker. And Robert certainly fits into that category. I have been insane over his 2003 release 'Rock Widow', and mesmerized by 2000s 'Elegies'. His music is sometimes raucous, sometimes anthemic, and sometimes very personal, but always something I wanna listen to. So when I heard from Robert he had a new music video, I was thrilled to push play.

In 1928, Maurice Ravel wrote his best known work, 'Boléro'. That was perhaps best known in pop culture when featured as a sexy soundtrack to Bo Derek's movie '10', and the amazing background to the brilliant perfect Ice Dancing performance by England's Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean. Twenty-one years before, he wrote another piece, this one for bass voice and piano. In 1907, Ravel wrote "Pièce en Forme de Habanera", a gorgeous and lush classical piece. Robert has re-imagined it, and it has been arranged for electric guitar and piano. This is the music video for "Piéce en Forme de Habanera", with Urban on electric guitar.

"Piéce en Forme de Habanera" was recorded as part of 'On Guitar', an instrumental album featuring Robert on electric guitar. At this point, it is only being streamed on Soundcloud here. Although it isn't available for purchase, you can find the rest of Robert's music on iTunes and Amazon. I have all the albums, and love when he rocks me out. Matt Zarley & Jeb Havens • F**kin' Perfect

In anticipation of his new release, singer/songwriter Matt Zarley has been putting out cover songs, to amuse us while w e wait. Together with friend and work buddy Jeb Havens, the pair take on a familia song when they sing "Fu**ken' Perfect", the song best known as the anthem from Pink! The song was a big hit in 2010, and was written by Pink, Max Martin, and Shellback. The song can be found on the album 'Greatest Hits...So Far!'

After having to take a break, and recompose themselves, Zarley and Havens both sound ready and even meant to be singing the song. They both identify with the song, taking the them of self-acceptance to a new level. The song is bold and vibrant, and both Matt and Jeb are up to the task. This is Matt Zarley and JEb HAvens singing "F**ken' Perfect", the big hit from Pink.

Sam Sparro recently went into a partnership with Lexus to bring you a new holiday song, "Spread A Little Love". This is yet another great song from Sparro, who seems incapable of making bad music. The song is soulful and sexy, and makes me immediately start dancing in my chair. While Sam looks particularly fine in the video, one can help but notice the gorgeous car car that pulls through, a perfect commercial for a sweet ride and a talented music man. The talented siblings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, are back with a new song for the holidays, and to celebrate the seas of giving, that are offering if to their fans for free! That is right, Hoyt and Carly Emerick wrote and recorded "Snow This Christmas", and have all but wrapped it up with a pretty bow for everyone to add to their Christmas playlist. It is a charming and warm song, recalling the holidays of our youth, when we knew life would be good if it would on "Snow This Christmas".

Candy Apple Blue • "Now That It's Over" Free Download

Candy Apple Blue have just released their latest single and music video, "Now That It's Over". The song, with words and music by Carly Emerick and Hoyt Emerick, is a SynthPop delight, light and bouncy with a bit of a bite. The sexy siblings star in the music video, although the masks can't hide the striking good looks. They are joined on screen by a duo of masked guests, who aren't quite as coquettish as the Emericks, but do show some ghoulish charm. Check out the Halloweenish fun with "Now That It's Over".

Mister Chase • Wonderful (A Message For The LGBT in Russia)

Out and proud American Mister Chase has a message for our LGBT братья и сестры, our Russian sisters and brothers. While the new laws from the oppressive regime of Vladimir Putin look to outlaw and punish the LGBT community, Mister Chase wants to remind the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people in Russian should know that despite those new laws, he, and a majority of Americans believe they are wonderful. To bring the point home, Mister Chase has recorded a cover of "Wonderful", written and originally performed by Gary Go.

So remember, "Ты прекрасна". You are wonderful, our Russian family. As is always the case, Mister Chase puts his own spin on the song, with his bold, strong vocals over an energetic track. The slick and stylish music video was directed and edited by Mister Chase, and filmed by Mister Chase and Collin Marrero. I was just thinking how it was about time to hear something new from the handsome and sexy ball of talent better known as Mister Chase. Lucky for us all, the time is now, and he has posted a music video for his cover of Bonnie McKee's June 2013 release, "American Girl". And once again he enlisted the assistance of Collin Marrero, who looks like he is having a great time in the video, too! Mister Chase put his own spin on the song, and reworked it as "American Boy". The version of the song is such great fun, I can't hear it enough.
