Simon Amstell • Do Nothing

Okay, I can perhaps tell you about my new British boyfriend, Simon Amstell. Simon is a funny, smart, cute, comedian I just discovered thanks to the brilliant folks at BBC America who televised his special, 'Do Nothing Live'. Apparently, he had a stand-up tour called 'Do Nothing' that was taped and broadcast, as well as available for purchase. I now have a big crush on him, despite the fact he is so damn young. Here is a promotion clip for 'Do Nothing'.

And I might have forgotten to mention that Simon is also an out and proud man. Well, as proud as he will allow himself to be. Check out this clip, as he tells up a little more about his relationship with his cat.

Of course, I find him adorable, but I really find people who make me laugh to be sexy. I found a copy of a series he starred in in the UK, 'Grandma's House'. Once again, I found it so funny, I was sitting there by myself laughing hysterically. Here, I'll let you watch the close of the 'Do Nothing' show.

Jackie Beat - Comedy Stylings with Songs

I thought I should start out the new year with a laugh, and am not sure it can get much better than with drag queen Jackie Beat. Jackie does comedy, and has a really great voice. I should mention that Jackie does comedy for adults, so the language might be a tad strong for some, and just over the top for others. I, on the other hand, find it just right, and hysterical. Love her! Check out Jackie's take on the old Billy Ocean song, Tired Old Queen...



There are times when Jackie seems to be auditioning to be the next Bond girl. Check her out doing her very best Shirley Bassey when she covers the classic Bond theme song, Dildos Are Forever...



To celebrate the New Year, Jackie sings a song by Prince, 1999. Needless to say, Jackie puts her own very special spin on the song when she updates it to 2012.



And, of course, what would life be if Jackie couldn't sing a tribute to Lady GaGa? I mean, her mash-up of Just Dance and Poker Face, and somehow, managed to make GaGa's songs even gayer. Who'd a thunk it?

Justin Martindale is a gay comedian I saw on LOGO the other night, and thought I would see if I could find any clips and share them with you. He is just adorable, and is pretty funny, too! Here is is, discussing the movie Twilight.

Comedy with Ali Mafi

Being an out gay Iranian can't have been easy, but it sure is funny, well, at least if comedian Ali Mafi is any indication. As is often the case with stand-up comics, some of his material might not be safe for the office or children, but I am posting it anyway! He does make me laugh. Check out this performance at The Clubhouse.



He also did a parody of the Real Housewives of Atlanta Kim Z's song, Tardy For The Party. He calls it Tired of Bein' A Bottom...
