I swear, in every interview I read, Eli Lieb sounds smart and grounded. And after listening to his latest single, "Lightning in a Bottle", you can definitely add talented to the list. And when watching the music video, the terms handsome and sexy easily come to mind. All in all, it seems Eli has hit the jackpot, doesn't it? When asked about the new song, Lieb said, "This song is really special to me. Everyone is fighting a battle." he went on to explain. "I want people to see this music video, hear the song, really listen to the lyrics, and live their truth. I want this to inspire people to not be afraid to break free and embrace who they are. I believe that being 100% your true authentic self is the key to real happiness and joy. Life is celebration and we are all beautiful beings!!" I can tell you that watching the video inspired me to go to iTunes and buy my copy, before I had to watch again.

"Lightning in a Bottle" was written by Lieb, and produced by John Feldmann. The music video was directed by Geoff Boothby, and produced by Sharkpig. Along with the good-looking singer/songwriter, the music video features four performers who let their light shine bright, and live there truth through performances, either dance or other means. The featured performers are Shangela, Jenna Riegel, Caitlin Scranton, and Rama Hall. They, along with Lieb, are living proof that loving what you do helps bring joy to others. Eli Lieb • Zeppelin

I first discovered the talents of Eli Lieb when I came across his YouTube channel, where he was doing covers of Pop hits. His videos were not the standard internet fare, but truly stylized and individual takes on the songs. But to my surprise, I discovered he also did original music, and soon purchased his eponymous first album. After a listen, I was soon excited to say I liked his original work even more. This was confirmed last year when his single and video for "Young Love" was released, and the world stood up and took notice. Eli's style and heart are hard to miss, and his voice has such a wonderful tone and depth, I could listen forever. He is also a handsome devil, and I swear I could eat him with a spoon. Now he offers us a new song, "Zeppelin", and I am reminded why I was a fan from the start. Once again Eli takes on love, and brings us on the journey with strong words and images. I know I was eager to sing along with Eli as Zeppelin's 'Mothership' was playing. And once again, Eli it out and proud, with a boyfriend onscreen, making me a bit jealous. Eli Lieb • Safe In My Hands

I have been a great fan of Singer/songwriter Eli Lieb since I first discovered his YouTube cover songs. It wasn't long before I added his eponymous first album to my collection. Like so many others, I was practically in teenage squee mode when I first saw his music video for the single "Young Love", a song that continues to make me happy. Lieb continues to break new ground, as he was commissioned by Allstate®, an insurance company looking to reach out to the LGBT community.

"Safe In My Hands" was written for the insurance company that tells us we are in 'good hands with Allstate.' Taken by itself, it is a romantic Pop song with the strong vocals from Eli I have come to expect. The music video/online commercial features a young boy who feels different, and out of place in his world. Soon he meets another young man like him, and life becomes better, and a lot more real. This is the Allstate version of Eli Leib's "Safe In My Hands".

There is something about a handsome man singing a beautiful classic to me that just makes me a happy man. And that is exactly how I would describe Eli Lieb's recording of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas". The song was was written by Ralph Blane and lyricist Hugh Martin, and introduced to the world by the always brilliant Judy Garland in the 1944 film 'Meet Me in St. Louis'. Later, the song was recorded by Frank Sinatra with new lyrics, and those words are the ones more commonly sung today. But as Eli tends to do, he uses the original as a launching pad to allow the song and his voice to go places no one has gone before. And I swear, when I listen, it sounds like he is singing to me! Singer/songwriter Eli Lieb has released a new video on his YouTube channel, and once again, he gets it so damn right I can't contain myself. This time out, Eli takes on Miley Cyrus with a cover of "Wrecking Ball", and it is amazing. His voice is perfect, and the arrangement spectacular to make this one of my favorite songs of the month! I bought it and it went right into my October 2013 playlist. I am not surprised, for it seems Eli never takes a bad step. And, I must admit he looks dazzling as ever in the video. Eli Lieb • Young Love

Eli Lieb has released a new single and music video, and I love both so much, it is hard to figure out where to start. The song, "Young Love", is an original written by Lieb, and I am a huge fan of his music. The song is a bold Pop/Rock song, kind of reminiscent of the music of Bryan Adams, with a striking raw edge, and driven by a strong guitar. The song produced by Jordan Palmer, co-produced by Eli. If this is a sign of music to come, I am damn near giddy about it. As the title suggests, the song takes a look at the fearless and joyful side of young love, celebrating the softer and more explosive sides of it. The music video was directed by Geoff Boothby, and produced by Shark Pig. It is handsome, moody, dark and sparkling, capturing the subject matter so very well. It also gives us the opportunity to see Eli's first on-screen kiss, a nice one with a handsome young actor. Oh, hell, let me shut up and just let you watch the music video for "Young Love".

This just makes me so excited for the music coming from this talented young man. I truly enjoyed his first album, as well as the YouTube covers he has put out, but this really ups the ante. Eli Lieb • Mirrors (Justin Timberlake cover)

With a bunch of new music coming out as of late, I thought it would be nice to give a listen and a look at some not so new music, in this case a cover by the sexy and talented Eli Lieb. Here he covers the brand new single from Justin Timberlake, "Mirrors". As Eli is wont to do, he takes the song and spins it to sound like it is Eli's, and not a JT song. Eli gives it a full orchestra treatment, stripping away the glossy veneer of the original recording. Of course, it also doesn't hurt that the camera loves him, even on those close shots. I read somewhere that Eli was recording a new album of original material, which I find very exciting. He takes a break from time to time to offer up a little something for his fans, which is nice, but I am really looking forward to the new music! Handsome singer/songwriter Eli Lieb has released a new YouTube cover, this one of "Lies", by Marina and the Diamonds. The song is a wonderful fit for Lieb's voice, even if it is very different than Marina's, who has a sweet and ethereal sound. Lieb has a wonderful rough edge to his voice, one that touches me every time I hear him sing. He also has a distinctive phrasing that speaks to me on a very honest level. Eli Lieb • Skyfall (Adele cover)

While I wasn't sure if anyone should even try to cover the latest from Adele, I was delightfully surprised when I heard Eli Lieb's version of "Skyfall". The song is the theme for the new James Bond thriller starring sexy Daniel Craig. Eli manages to keep the song sounding good, and looking pretty damn sexy while he does it.

Eli Lieb • Adele & Others

It is fun to take a look at the rise of Eli Lieb, the handsome singer/songwriter from Fairfield, Iowa. Music has been an important part of his life growing up, and Lieb pursued his dreams, and moved to New York City, looking to hone his skills and get a break. He played some of the top clubs and stages, gaining precious experience and a following. After ten years in the city, the young man returned home to Iowa, but had not given up his dreams. Among the things he learned, music production came in handy as he started to produce his own material. He also began working on some videos to post to Youtube, to get his name out there, as well as to keep a finger on the pulse of Pop music. It didn't take long before people took notice of the guy from Iowa. In fact, people began wanting produced recordings, and soon Lieb made them available online. Some of those songs included "Someone Like You", the brilliant song written by Adele and Dan Wilson, and performed to perfection of the British chanteuse. But the one I really love is his cover of "Turning Tables", off the first Adele album. Check out Eli's version of the song.



I should also mention Eli is an out and proud gay man, just another reason to support his efforts. Among the many covers you can find online, he also gave a shot at Britney Spears' "Inside Out" and gave added depth to Katy Perry's "Fireworks", while keeping a lid on the amount of pyrotechnics. Of course, is there anyone who has recorded cover songs in the last few years that have not rearranged and massaged the music of Lady Gaga? Well, count Lieb among those who have, with his stripped down version of "The Edge of Glory" actually gives the song sturdier legs to stand on.
