Cazwell • Downtown (NSFW)

I am a fan of the music of Cazwell, the rapper with blond hair, blue eyes, and a hot body who has released a new music video. I can't remember when I first discovered his music, whether it was when I sw the video for "Ice Cream Truck", or some other gem I still play on my iPod. His new single, "Downtown", follows in the style of his videos, meaning it is sexy, irreverent, and filled with hot men wearing as little as possible. So when I point out this music video is NSFW, I mean it. So if you are at work, do yourself a favor, and either favorite the video you you can come back too it - often - or put on the headphone and take you chance on being caught. Who knows, your boss might want to watch with you.

"Downtown" is a single off the album 'Hard 2 B Fresh', and once again, Cazwell has me from the start. The song is an homage, of sorts, to life lived in the city, if you discount life on the Upper East and Upper West Sides of Manhattan. These are not boys going to the piano bar in the West Village, either. They used to hang out in midtown, before Mayor Giuliani banished the clubs and the porn theaters. So they go to the Lower East Side to see the boys strip, but drink it up at their apartment before they go out, to save some money. This is Cazwell with "Downtown".

"Downtown" can be found on Cazwell's latest album. You can purchase 'Hard 2 B Fresh' from iTunes and Amazon. To learn more about Cazwell, visit his official website. You can also find him on social media, where you can 'like' him on Facebook, and 'follow' him on Twitter.

Cazwell • Hot Homo Video (NSFW)

Cazwell has joined forces with gay bear rapper Big Dipper to release "Hot Homo", their own particularly gay take on Bobby Shmurda’s “Hot N*gga”. I have long been a fan of Cazwell, who manages to combine music, rap, humor, and intelligence in his music. And he is also pretty damn cute. He shares the microphone with Big Dipper, who I was not familiar with until now. But I bet I will remedy that quickly. The song, "Hot Homo", is a parody of Shmurda's song, with a decidedly gay edge.

The music video, which is decidedly Not Safe for Work, was directed by Gabe Gonzalez, and edited by David Munoz. Tobin Del Cuore operated the camera, and the crew was made up by Adam Moore, Clark Parkan, and Bob. And it wouldn't be a Cazwell video without lots of handsome men, the less clothes the better. In this video, you can find Levi Michaels, Tayte Hanson, Dimitri Genco, 3X’S, Justin, Brett Edwards Stout, Mikel Mitchell, David Munoz, Marco Ovando, Skylar Loraquette, Sergio Ramos, Andrew Price, Alonso Garcia, Geronimo Frias, Alex Maravilla, Tayda Lebon, Avi Vichner, and Elvis. I hope you enjoy "Hot Homo", as performed by Cazwell and Big Dipper.

This weekend, you can get your FREE Download on Soundcloud. Get it now, I am not sure how long the offer will last. To learn more about Cazwell, visit his official website. If you enjoy the social medias, you 'like' him on Facebook, and 'follow' him on Twitter. For more about Big Dipper, you can visit his official website. 'Love/Sexo' from Peace Bisquit

 photo LoveSexoCOVER_zps4126d645.jpg

Peace Bisquit has released a new collection of songs that will surely put your weekend in overdrive. I first head of the album via the talented Jason Walker, whose sensational cover of Taylor Dayne's "Tell It To My Heart" was featured on the blog a few weeks ago. But now the entire album is available for purchase, and it is sensational. But with 23 songs from so many truly gifted artists, often in collaboration with other talented people, this is something special. Aside from the aforementioned Jason Walker, there is also Michelle Williams, Amanda Lepore, Carmen Electra, Miss Lawrence, and cirKus, as well as the other fantastic performers featured below.

The Ones are an American electronic dance music band, best known for their 2001 hit UK single, "Flawless". Paul Alexander, JoJo Americo, and Nashom Wooden make up the group, who formed in Greenwich Village when the trio worked together at a Patricia Field boutique. They are still going strong, and sound fantastic on "Face and Body", the track off the album. Featuring the Russian duo of Fagault and Marina, the song glides along like it is floating on ice. The music video is a visual banquet, a delicious meal for the eyes. This is The Ones with "Face and Body (John J-C Carr Fashion Mix)", featuring Fagault & Marina.

Well, it is no secret I am a fan of Cazwell's music, as he has been featured on the blog many times. So when I learned he also had a track on the collection, I was excited to hear it. When I read he was teaming up with 'Ru Paul's Drag Race' alumni Manila Luzon, that only made it even better. The song was written by Cazwell, and produced by the rapper and NY DJ Richie Beretta. In fact, Beretta and the artist Roxy are both featured artists on the track, making this collaboration both sexy and strong. And those attributes are enhances by the video, for it is always a bonus to watch video of Cazwell in the tub. This is Manila Luzon and Cazwell featuring Roxy and Richie Beretta with "Helen Keller (Jodie Harsh Remix)".

Brooklyn has long been a hot bed for indie Rock musicians, and that continues to be the case. That is where you can find keyboardist and vocalist Matt Johnson and drummer Kim Schifino, known professionally as Matt & Kim. The duo truly took off in 2009, when the music video for "Lessons Learned", in which the pair get naked in Times Square, went viral, and earned them the "Breakthrough Video" award at the '2009 MTV Video Music Awards'. The song "Let's Go" was first heard on the 2012 release, 'Lightening'. A great new remix gave the song new life, and a place on this collection. This is Matt & Kim with the song "Let's Go (Stefan Dabruck Remix)".

Finally, we come to one of my favorites off the album, along with Walker's. It comes from a very talented veteran of the music industry. Angie Stone first came to the attention of the industry in the 1980s, when she was 'discovered' as part of The Sequence, a Rap trio. But she also found success as a solo artist, allowing her stunning voice to really shine. "Life Story" originally appeared on her 1999 album 'Black Diamond'. But with a new remix by Stefan Dabruck, the Gerry DeVeaux and Craig Ross song has a new freshness, and Stone's voice is as amazing as ever. This is Angie Stone with "Life Story (Stefan Dabruck Remix)"

You can purchase 'Love/Sexo' from iTunes and Amazon. The iTunes version also includes seven music videos, rounding out with the addition of 30 tracks to your collection, while also being less expensive that the Amazon offering. For more about Peace Bisquit, visit the official website. You can also 'like' them on Facebook, and 'follow' them on Twitter.

Weekend Starters by SIRPAUL, Matt Alber, Cazwell, and Darren Ockert

Clockwise: Music from SIRPAUL, Matt Alber, Cazwell, and Darren Ockert.

I just decided to put together a post of some recent singles released by some of my favorite artists, all ready to make your weekend that much better, for a Friday morning post to kick off your weekend with style. Four out and proud artists, all making music that makes you wanna get out of your chair and shake your groove thing like there was no tomorrow. They all take on love in a different way, in a different form. But whether the beat is bold and bright, or is smooth and sleek, the singers are tie it all together with exceptional performances. Our first cut is a perfect example of this, as SIRPAUL sings "Every Single Moment", his hot single off his just-released album 'Seventh Star'. SIRPAUL sings about love so strong, you don't want to be apart from that special someone even for a moment. So please enjoy SIRPAUL singing "Every Single Moment".

"Every Single Moment" can be found on 'Seventh Star', which is available for purchase from iTunes and Amazon. To learn more about SIRPAUL, visit his official website. You can also find him in the social medias, 'like' him on Facebook, and 'follow' him on Twitter. On his recent album 'Constant Crows', he included a track he wrote, "Tightrope". The acoustic track, with an underlying Latin beat that is kinda sexy, has a softness that truly warms the heart. For me, the song is about new love, when you are trying to see if someone can meet you in the middle, so you don't have to show too much. Well, some wonderful DJs remixed the song, and gave it more urgency, a bit of an edge. Matt packaged a few of the remixes, and made them available on iTunes, and made a fun new video as well. This is the official music video for "Tightrope" by Matt Alber.

You can purchase the Remixes from iTunes and Amazon. The proceeds benefit Larkin Street Youth Services, a charity that helps out with homeless and runaway Youth. To learn more about Larkin Street, visit their official website. For more about Matt Alber, visit his official website. While you are there, you can join his mailing list, to be kept up to date on the latest from Alber. You can also "like" him on Facebook, and 'follow' him on Twitter. While the album 'Short Story Long' just came out this week, the single and music video for "Crumbs" surfaced a few weeks ago, and it is a song I play again and again. From the stadium stomping at the beginning, you know Ockert means business. The song is about the search for love, for the person ready to let down the walls and invite you in. He's looking for it all, not just what crumbs someone has to offer him. I hope you enjoy the official music video for Darren Ockert's "Crumbs".

"Crumbs" can be found on the album 'Short Story Long', which can be purchased from iTunes and CD Baby, or you can purchase the CD from Amazon. For more about Darren Ockert, visit his official website. You can also 'like' him on Facebook, or 'follow' him on Twitter. And last, but certainly not least, we have rapper Cazwell exploring a whole different kind of love, the, well, love of self. No, not that kind, but when you feel the need to share endless photos of yourself in various poses and states of undress on all the social media platforms. We all know at least one or two people like that right? Well, Cazwell captures them perfectly with the song "No Selfie Control", and looks damn good doing it. And, best of all, sounds great, too! Have a blast with Cazwell as he sings "No Selfie Control".

You can purchase "No Selfie Control" from iTunes. To learn more about Cazwell, visit his official website. You can also 'like' him on Facebook, and 'follow' him on Twitter. And have a great weekend, and don't forget to take some advice from KC, of KC & the Sunshine Band, and "do a little dance, make a little love, and get down tonight!"

Once again, Cazwell proves to have an eye on Pop culture, a razor-sharp wit, and an excellent workout regime with his latest video, "No Selfie Control". The out and proud rapper takes on social media habits, specifically the need for some to feature pictures of themselves in endless succession. Those people do seem to have "No Selfie Control", posting cellphone pictures of themselves in various locations and in various states of dress/undress. The music video, which features the rapper and several other game 'friends' in a variety of settings, from post-party sofas to the bathtub. Check out Cazwell's music video for "No Selfie Control".

Now, if I looked as good as Cazwell, you might find a few selfies of me. Since that is not the case, You'd be better off checking out some other profiles on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. You can purchase "No Selfie Control" from iTunes. To learn more about Cazwell, visit his official website. There you will find the latest news, and learn about his touring schedule. You can find out from Cazwell directly, if you 'like' him on Facebook, and 'follow' him on Twitter.

As the weekend kicks into gear, it seems almost mandatory to have the latest single from Cazwell to help us get ready for a party. With a new music video, we can all enjoy Cazwell working with Luciana on "Guess What". The collaboration is a good one, allowing Cazwell a chance to go at full tilt on the song, a party boy you can't wait to arrive a little late to the party. The song mixes up the tempos and the intensity levels, keeping us wondering about what might be coming next. It certainly had me bopping around in my chair. Enjoy the music video of "Guess What", featuring Cazwell and Luciana.

You can find "Guess What" on iTunes. To learn more about Cazwell, visit his official website. You can keep up on the latest news, including where you might catch up with Cazwell if you 'like' him on Facebook, and 'follow' him on Twitter. Great Club Music From 2011

Yovanni
Simulover, SIRPAUL & Alex Lauterstein Cazwell
Clockwise: Yovanni, Kris Searle, Cazwell, and Simulover.

When you hit the clubs in 2011, it would be surprising to NOT hear some if not all of the acts pictures above. Especially if you are hitting a LGBT club! They put out some fantastic music, an not just this year.

At the beginning of the year, Cuban-born Yovanni released his single Hello. The song, with the strong elements of Dance and Rock, showed the countless influences of the boy who grew up in Miami. After studying music, he ventured out to make his own statement. This he did. Bold, futuristic, and spicy hot are just a few of the ways you could describe the video. Watch Hello.

You can purchase Hello on iTunes and Amazon.

Earlier this year, a new release came out by Simulover. It is a duo made up of SIRPAUL and Alex Lauterstein, two talented men working in New York City. I am a huge fan of SIRPAUL's work, and had seen him live where he was assisted by the strikingly handsome DJ, Alex. So I was excited to hear the music they made together, and once it hit the internet, I was not disappointed at all. The Simulover album was great stuff, a combination of dance, electronica and industrial music that showed no limits. Check out their first video for the song Tourniquet.

You can purchase the Simulover album on iTunes and Amazon.

For the fifth consecutive year, Kris Searle has won the prestigious 21st annual Los Angeles Music Award for Best Dance Electronica Artist of the year. The British-born Kris splits his time between his home in the UK and his new adopted home in Los Angeles. Searle recently released Falling For Your Light, a great Electronic Pop song.

You can purchase Falling For Your Light on iTunes and Amazon.

It is sometimes tough to write about someone like Cazwell, who has been making great music for several years, and who is just so damned fun to watch and listen to. He recruited a bunch of hot dancers and they made some videos for songs like Ice Cream Truck and Get My Money Back off the 2010 release, Watch My Mouth. Whether it is more fun to watch the video, dance to the song, or just listen to his music on the iPod, you can decide. Cause I just can't, I love to do it all.

You can purchase Watch My Mouth on iTunes and Amazon.

Friday Night with Cazwell

Cazwell
Cazwell Cazwell & Amanda LePore
Cazwell's Ice Cream Dancers

It is about damn time I brought the party that is Cazwell to Friday night. His music is stamped with humor, bravura, and a whole lot of innuendo, making his a perfect fit for Hip-Hop. Base in New York City, the Massachusetts-born Cazwell started out in 2006 with a scandal, when his video with Amanda LePore was banned from LOGO. He didn't let that slow him down, and, in fact, it only made his star burn brighter. His work with LePore was at time scandalous, and always exciting. More recently, his 2100 video for Ice Cream Truck became a sensation, and it is easy to see why it had over a million views in the first week.

The 2007 video for Watch My Mouth is another one to watch. The description on YouTube includes "The video features Amanda Lepore, Rainblo, Lady Fag, Raquel Reed, A Joshua and a bunch of hot boys." Enuf said, right?

His latest video, 2011's Get My Money Back, marked the return of the Ice Cream Truck Dancers, a welcome sight, to be sure. The video features some great dancing, as well as those great monkey costumes.

The 2008 video for I Seen Beyoncé featuring Jonny Makeup went viral, and it is easy to understand why. The humor, charm, and outlandishness of the video is just priceless. "She was what? Oh."

But the video that kinda started it all was the 2006 video for All Over Your Face featuring Amanda LePore. It was banned from LOGO for being too racy, too sexual, and when I watch it, I would say it was just not the right kinda sexual for MTV. Give it a watch, and tell me what you think.

For more about Cazwell, check out his excellent website here. You can find all these songs on a compilation collection, Watch My Mouth, on Amazon.com here. Well, all but Ice Cream Truck, which you can download here.
