Back in an alley, Michaela refuses to keep running unless they explain why. Hal tells her they are being chased by vampires, and, in fact, he is a vampire, and Tom is a werewolf. She feels mocked, and Tom suggests Hal "do the eyes and teeth thing" to convince her. He reluctantly does, and he is turned on. When Tom goes to check the streets, Michaela offers her neck to Hal, and he is noticeably distracted. Tom returns to bring Hal back, and punches the vampire behind him. They head back to home, only to find Annie packed. First she must attend to Tom's hand, which was cut in the punch. Michaela sees the first aid kit, but not Annie. She meets Regus, and is again intrigued. Annie calls for a house meeting, and sends Michaela and Regus to the kitchen while the trio talk.

That brings us up to date, and now on to this episode, A Spectre Calls. Annie has been busy making a chart, a glittered schedule for the trip to tend to all of Eve's needs. She is thrilled, the boys, well, not so much. She notices someone approaching the door, and the boys quickly grab and frisk him. Given an opportunity, Kirby tells them he is a ghost, and was sent by Nina to help out with Eve. When asked, she didn't come back because werewolves cannot be ghosts. They let him in, and he is to help out with the baby. When he sees the room, he suggests redecorating, and Annie agrees, and fears she was messing up Eve's life. She goes to Tom, and asks him to go out to get things for Eve's room. Kirby sows seeds of distrust, first with Annie, then with Tom. Annie interrupts Hal doing pushups, to get help with Eve. Hal tried to explain his routine is his way of controlling his blood-lust, but ends up stopping his routine to take Eve.

Tom returns with a gem he found in a dumpster, and Annie is appalled. Kirby is taking his turn talking the friends, and planting seeds of doubt and distrust. With each scene, the tension seems to rise. Kirby goes to Tom, and they discuss the pictures and clippings on his wall, his own wish list. soon Kirby discovers Tom really would love to have a traditional birthday party, tells Tom Annie is planning a surprise for Tom's birthday, and the young werewolf is thrilled. Soon they are all gathered downstairs, for Eve has a temperature, and Annie isn't happy. They decide to call a doctor to come make a house call. Hal fears too many questions will be asked, but Tom thinks he has the answers. Annie, however, has thoughts of her own that will not be denied. They will be a gay couple, much to the boys chagrin. Hal tells the doctor he was being rude to Tom because he was gay, and the Doctor suggests not, it was because he thought Tom a half-wit. Didn't realize they were gay, for the house lacked taste... Soon the doctor mentions checking out the situation, for there is no record of the baby. Not happy, Kirby follows the Doctor to his car and soon the ambulance is there to collect him. Hal suspects Kirby is up to something, but can't really prove it. And Kirby mentions he met many of his victims on the other side, and would tell Annie about his past, in detail. But not is Hal is nice to him, and help to get Annie to trust him.

Kirby goes out to Tom, who is cleaning the chest he found earlier. He is noticing how they all talk down to him, since Kirby pointed it out to him. Kirby thinks they might only be doing it because he is turning 21, and can't once he is 21. And he bets they are throwing him a huge party. Hal goes to talk to Annie, to tell her the things from his past so Kirby holds nothing. Annie doesn't want to hear, fearing the knowledge. That makes Hal eve more scared. Annie is looking for Hal, for it is his time with Eve, but she runs into Kirby instead. They have a chat, and he makes her feel better. Hal returns home, and you can see Kirby further eroding away her trust in her roommates. Tom is quite excited, for he has spent the whole day in anticipation of returning to a surprise party. Of course, we knew there would be nothing happening. He storms off to his room, and starts tearing down the things on his wall in a rage. Kirby walks in, apologizing in a way to add to the divide. Tom only wants a life that "normal" people have, something he has never experienced other than seeing pictures. And Kirby offers more lies, and the hurting werewolf is listening. Tom runs off, with stake in hand, to have it out with Hal. While fighting, Tom wipes his blood on to Hal's shoulder, and then runs out of the house and down the street. Soon Annie is fighting with Hal, until he retires to his room, leaving Annie once again with Kirby.

The newly of age Tom is seen walking the streets in town, drunk and drinking more. As we watch, we hear The King Blues sing We Are F*ing Angry.

He sees a vampire following a young woman down an alley, and takes out his anger on him, punching and kicking away. Until, that is, he is stopped by the police. Back in the house, Hal starts a conversation with Kirby, telling the ghost he knows he killed the doctor. He won't play the ghost's game, but then Kirby plays his ace; he starts making a mess of Hal's room, setting off his OCD. Kirby vanishes, and Hal chases him to Eve's room. Hal breaks down the door and charges in. Kirby grabs the baby, and Hal gets all vampiric. As Annie comes in the room, Kirby yells, "No, Hal, not the baby..." Annie is mortified, and asks Hal to leave.
