Jamie Cullum Reminds Us @ Five on the 5th

New 5 on the 5th Banner

I received a little advance notice from Stephen Chapman about December's Five on the Fifth. He has decided to end the monthly effort after two years of participation around the globe with the December 5th installment. "So, the final '5 on the Fifth' needs to feature as many people as possible," Stephen told us. "Just take 5 photographs on the days leading up to the 5th and publish those on your own blog and then add the link to my blog so that others can find your images. As always, you can either take 5 random pictures or follow this months theme: Winter Weekend."

To remind us, I thought I would offer up the song Photograph by English Pop star Jamie Cullum. I love Jamie's voice, and his Jazzy stylings.

For more about Jamie, check out his official website here. Photograph is from his third release, 2005's Catching Tales. You can find it on iTunes here, and on Amazon here.

Five on the 5th - Reminder for June

New 5 on the 5th Banner

I received notice from Stephen Chapman about the latest edition of Five on the 5th. So I just wanted to take a moment to give a heads up with plenty of notice so everyone can take advantage of the opportunity! In case you are not aware, the site has a new look, which you can see by clicking here.

This Sunday, '5 on the fifth' returns. Take 5 photographs over the next few days and publish those on your own blog and then add the link to my blog so that others can see your images. If you don't have a blog, Stephen will be glad to host your pictures on his blog.

You can either take 5 random pictures or follow this months theme (of which there are 2 from which to choose): NEW!

5 on the Fifth - Reminder for January 2011

five on the fifth

As we come up on the New Year and the according celebrations, we are also approaching the latest installment of 5 on the Fifth. One reason I know that is the receipt of a message on FaceBook reminding me, so I thought I would offer the readers the same courtesy. The following is the message from Stephen Chapman.

It's almost time for the next "5 on the Fifth". As usual, everyone is welcome to take part. You can either take 5 random pictures of something that happens to you on the 5th of January (or the days leading up to it) or perhaps go for my suggested theme. This month, the theme is Fun and Games.

So, be they pictures taken during the holiday celebrations, or just part of your everyday life, it is time to make sure your cameras are handy, the battery is charged, and you snap a few shots.
