Date Night • Once Upon a Crime Ep 5

Todrick Hall, Manila Luzan, and Willam Belli take on the Disney Princesses with the short 'Once Upon a Crime episode 5 - Cinderella vs Snow White'. It seems Snow White and Cinderella are not getting along, and take their problem to television court with Judge Ratchet. The roles are played by Luzan, Belli, and Hall, respectively. Needless to say, hilarity ensues.

Todrick Hall & Pentatonix • The Wizard of Ahhhs

Todrick Hall is at it again, creating a mash-up/spectacle that will entrance us all. This time, Todrick is joined by the vocal group Pentatonix to create a new spin on 'The Wizard of Oz' story. They pull it together with a mash-up of songs from today, from Country to Pop. While Pentatonix might start with "Over The Rainbow", it isn't long before they are recreating the storm whisking Dorothy and Toto off with Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away". And, well, they take off from there. Really, you are better off hitting play full screen and sit back and enjoy than have me blathering on much longer. So please enjoy 'The Wizard of Ahhhs'.

You can purchase the mash-up "The Wizard of Ahhhs" on iTunes. To show your appreciation of their work, you can find both Todrick and the group on Twitter, with Todrick here, and Pentatonix here. To see and hear more, you can check out Todick on YouTube, and Pentatonix' official website.

Todrick Hall • Cinder Fella

Clockwise: Todrick Hall; Willam Belli & Shangela; Lance Bass; Glozell; and Janice Dickinson.

Todrick Hall released a new video this afternoon, and it is far more ambitious than his previous efforts. It also has far more star power than most videos out there. Todrick stars as Cinder Fella, giving the folk tale first published in the 17th century a new lease on life, now a morality play promoting marriage and love equality. Hall is joined in the video by Janice Dickinson as the Evil Stepmother, Shangela & Willam Belli as the Wicked Stepsisters, Glozell as the Fairy Godmother, Kimberly Cole as Jasmine, Aubrey O'Day as Alice (not in Wonderland), and Lance Bass as handsome Prince Charming. The six-minute short combines the music of several Disney classics with some of recent Pop hits to also give the storyline a bit of a sprucing up. While it might sound like a bit of a jumble, it is quite charming and fun, and a great time. Watch "Cinder Fella"...

Hope you enjoyed the video. You can tell Todrick how much you enjoyed it on Twitter here and Facebook here. And while not this video, you can check out his music available on iTunes. His "It Gets Better" song and video are quite nice, and I featured them on the blog.

Todrick Hall Sings 'It Gets Better'

Wow. This song just blows me away. I was checking out FaceBook, and came across a post from Adam Joseph and gave it a click. What I saw was a powerful video, and what I heard was a touching and strong song that says it all. The video includes some very talented young people, lending their gifts to this powerful piece.

Todrick, who made it to the semifinals of American Idol, wrote and sings this song with the conviction and style that sets it apart, and makes it one of the most incredible videos/songs I have heard for some time. I look forward to hearing more music from this talented young man.

Yes, with lyrics like Maybe today seems cloudy and gray, So full of sorrow and tomorrow seems so far away, But it gets better, but It gets better, And I know the world keeps throwing you strife, But Keep on strutting down this yellow brick road called life, Cuz it gets better, cuz it gets better, he manages to not only reach out to put a stop to bullying, but remind all who fall victim to it to find their strength and keep on living, cause it does get better. You can buy the song on iTunes here. You can check out Todrick on Twitter here, and on FaceBook here.
