It seems as though Chris Salvatore has been a busy man as of late. Not only is he launching his own line of underwear, he has also been working on his music, and making a new music video. Chris revisited a song he released in 2012, and brought pictures to the words with a new music video for "What You Do To Me". As is always the case, Chris looks amazing, and sounds even better on the song, reminding me why I keep coming back to purchase his music. The video is filled with warmth and charm, and I just can't watch it enough. This is Chris Salvatore featured in the music video for "What You Do To Me".

Chris Salvatore • All I Want For Christmas Is You

Chris Salvatore - All I Want For Christmas Is You photo ChrisSalvatoreAllIWantForChristmasIsYouCOVER_zps92fb7ff0.jpg

Handsome and talented, singer/songwriter/actor Christ Salvatore has released a holiday song to join in the Christmas fun! Last year, he teamed up with Mister Chase in a wonderful duet on "Baby, It's Cold outside". This year, he went solo with his own take on Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You". The song, written by Carey and Walter Afanasieff 19 years ago, was first heard as an uptempo delight. As is often the case, Salvatore has his own take, slowing it down and taking his inspiration from Imogen Heap. He gives the song a dark and moody reading, with a mixture of melancholia and defiance. Check it out, this is "All I Want For Christmas Is You".

Chris Salvatore • I Want Your Sex

Chris Salvatore photo chris_salvatore_zpsc284f118.jpg

Whenever a handsome young man serenades me with "I Want Your Sex", I have to admit he has my attention. And when that young man is Chris Salvatore, I am definitely listening. So when I saw on Twitter that Chris had released a cover of George Michael's "I Want Your Sex", released almost exactly 26 years ago. It was the first single off the 'Faith' album, and the video included his then-girlfriend, Kathy Jeung. It would be 11 years before George would come out of the closet, following the arrest in the Beverly Hills park restroom.

There is no issue with Salvatore, who has been out and proud for his entire career. And I am a big fan, and not just of his pretty face. "I Want Your Sex" originally was part of the 2010 collection, 'The Sound of This Beat'. That album was a sweet combination of Electronica and Pop with some strong Rock influences. His take on the George Michael classic is an Electronica gem, sexy and modern, not bothering with the faux coyness of the original. To hear it, just hit play to enjoy Salvatore's take on "I Want Your Sex".

Post-Sandy Dance Party

The Young Profesionals B.Slade
Simulover Chris Salvatore
Clockwise: The Young Professionals; B.Slade; Chris Salvatore; and Simulover.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, I seem to have a bit of fatigue, as if I was hit by the high winds and rain myself. So I am trying to catch up with myself, and get back to the blog after a couple of days off. I was at a loss as to what to post, feeling little inspiration. I looked around at dance music, still uninspired. I even turned on the cable music station, thinking if all else fails, I would just pick the first four songs and post them. As I was doing that, I decided this was not the answer. I would not find inspiration in random songs. So I decided to pick out four songs by out artists I love to listen to, and suddenly it all fell together. It certainly didn't hurt I began with a great track from B.Slade™ off his album Deep Purple. Enjoy as the so very gifted B.Slade as he sings "Phony Pony."

For more about B.Slade, visit his official website. I have been a fan of SIRPAUL and his amazing music for some time, and when he started working with DJ Alex Lauterstein, I was intrigued. The pairing was called Simulover, and their love of Electronica brought them together to make some sexy, sultry sounds. Listen to one of the songs off the 2011 debut, "Unbroken."

For more about Simulover, visit his official website. And speaking of duos, I have loved the music of Ivri Lider sing the first time I heard it in a movie soundtrack, and was thrilled when I heard he was making some Electronica/Dance music with a new musical partner, Yonathan Goldshtein. The calleed the group The Young Professionals, often abbreviating to TYP. In 2011, they released the album '9:00 To 17:00 To Whenever,' and I bought it the moment it became available. So enjoy the song "With Me" off that debut.

For more about The Young Professionals, visit his official website. And, finally, I will bring in a very handsome singer/songwriter who might be perhaps best known for his acting in the popular 'Eating Out' series, as well as others. I actually first came to know his as a singer/songwriter, enjoying his music. I love 'The Sound of This Beat,' and Salvatore's take on the George Michael song "I Want Your Sex."

Two young, handsome and talented singers joined forces to reveal the true meaning of the holiday, giving. Mister Chase and Chris Salvatore recorded and made a video for Baby, It's Cold Outside, written by by Frank Loesser in 1944. He wrote it as a fun duet to sing with his wife, not really intended as a Christmas song. Over the years, it has been covered by some of the greats in the music industry, and has become a Christmas standard.

You can purchase Baby, It's Cold Outside on iTunes here. All proceeds will go to organizations to help our youth in need. Programs such as Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention, as well as furthering equal rights for the LGBT community.

Mister Chase recently released the single Addicted. He has also made sign language videos interpretting some of the big artists of the day, from Britney Spears to Lady GaGa to Nicki Minaj. Check out the video for Addicted.

I am also a fan of Chris Salvatore. There is more to this man than just his striking good looks. As well as being a singer/songwriter, Salvatore is a musician and actor, featured in leads roles in two of the latest Eating Out movies. You can catch him here in on of his own music videos, for Dirty Love.

You can find the Dirty Love EP on iTunes here, and on Amazon here. He also released The Sound Of This Beat last year, which you can find on iTunes here, and on Amazon here. You can find Chris on Twitter here.

Cover Boy • Chris Salvatore

Chris Salvatore Chris Salvatore
600full-chris-salvatore-1 Chris Salvatore

Actor. Model. Singer. Musician. All are terms that could aptly describe Chris Salvatore, today's Cover Boy. At first glance, those stunning good looks might make it easy to forget there is a much more to him. He's starred in three feature films, all part of the Eating Out franchise, starring as Zack in All You Can Eat, Drama Camp, and the upcoming Open Weekend. But it would seem music is his first love. Check out this cover of Lady GaGa's monster hit, Born This Way.

As a matter of fact, the devilishly handsome Salvatore studied at the Berklee College of Music, the prestigious Boston school. He majored in vocal performance, and was soon recording music he was writing. You can watch another video as he covers Christina Perri's Jar Of Hearts. It might be easier to focus on this one, he wears a shirt.

Along with his other noteworthy accomplishments, Chris is also an out and proud performer. He has spent time working for equality, in between his many projects. Those projects include self-made videos of cover songs, including this really nice clip of Salvatore singing The Fray's You Found Me.

You can find more about Chris Salvatore on his website here or on ReverbNation here. You can also find him on Twitter here, and on Facebook here. You can check out Dirty Love: The Remixes, on iTunes here, and Amazon here.
