Five on the 5th - Reminder for August

New 5 on the 5th Banner

Come one, come all! Please tell your friends! It's simple, it's easy! Be a part of the worldwide movement started by Stephen Chapman. All you need to do is to take 5 photographs on the days leading up to the 5th and publish those on your own blog and then add the link to my blog so that others can find your images.

This month, the theme is MY TOWN (or you can either take 5 pictures on this theme, or 5 random pictures, as usual). Check out Stephen's site here.

Five on the 5th - July

five on the fifth

Another month has arrived, and Stephen Chapman's fantastic and fun Five on the 5th posts, and I am again taking part in the festivities.
You can either take 5 random pictures of anything that happens to you on Monday 5th of July (or the days leading up to it) or perhaps go for my suggested theme - this month there are 2 suggestions:

"This past weekend" or "I don't like Mondays".

I had nothing worth photographing over the weekend, as I spent way too much time with the hedgetrimmer, so I am pulling from some pictures I have taken over the last two weeks. Evidently, I am adapting the theme to be "The last few weekends." This is a peak at my previous two weekend, of June 18th and 25th. Hope you enjoy.

Five on the 5th - April 2010

Stephen Chapman has the blog State of the Nation UK, where he has the fascinating feature, Five on the Fifth. This month, Stephen suggests you can take 5 random pictures or follow my suggested theme - and this month we have 2 options: Spring and/or Bank Holiday weekend.

Living on a family farm makes this too irresistible - grab the camera and go outside. The place is brimming with Spring. On the farm, when the horses get out in the paddock, you know Spring is here. So, on the afternoon of April 5, 2010, I went out with my camera to see what was going on and try to capture it a little.

Five on the Fifth - January 2010

Stephen Chapman has the blog State of the Nation UK, where he has the fascinating feature, Five on the Fifth.
Welcome to "5 on the fifth", a monthly posting that benefits from audience participation. You take 5 photographs on the 5th of the month (or the days leading up to the 5th) - post a comment here with your name, location and link to the site containing your photos and I will update the blog entry with your information. Remember to mention my blog on your own blog, so that your visitors get to see the other contributions. You can take 5 random pictures or follow my suggested theme, which this month is: Water.

Well, it is January, so most of the water around here is ice, and that is what I decided to take pictures of this month. So I picked up the camera on January 4th and went outside in the cold to find some frozen water, with it's differing textures and shapes.

As water drips from a condensate line, it formed a land-locked iceberg.
