Book'im, Dano. Cuff him and lead him away. Well, at least to the nearest YouTube stop, where you can watch Toby Madigan in the video for his latest song, Arrested. I am really loving it, like I did his debut release with the singles Chatroom Romance and Somebody. Watch Arrested Now!



Toby is making the video now so it can go up on LOGO.com and be a part of the Clicklist, where people can vote and the video can be seen. It is going to be a part of the new album Toby is finishing up, Symphony of Sweat. And since I know that many of you out there would love to partake in a bit of that symphony with a handsome man like Toby, now might be the right time to say you can lend Toby a helping hand. Perhaps I would be better off letting him talk to you about it.

Toby Madigan - Chatroom Romance

To start the celebration of one year on the blog, I thought I would post some of my favorite videos, every hour on the hour, today and tomorrow, during posting hours. That means 29 of my favorite artists will be featured. All but four are members of the LGBT community, and one of the four is a group with one member being an out and proud man. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed putting the list together. The first is Toby Madigan, who I happened upon while surfing the web. I checked out his videos, and had to buy his album, Right Brain, Left Brain. The hunky singer/songwriter has a great sense of humor, as can be seen in the video for his song, Chatroom Romance.

New Music - Toby Madigan

Just this week I discovered a new artist of whom I am pretty fond. Toby Madigan is a hot little number, and doesn't seem to have any issues letting his fans see it. He is an out performer, and was arrested at a No On Prop8 rally in California.

According to the website, Toby splits his time between West Hollywood and NYC. He has released his first indie offering, Left Brain/Right Brain. Chatroom Romance is now starting to get some play on LOGO, although I am also fond of Somebody. I have DL'ed the CD, which you can do directly from his website. I like it very much, especially Somebody (I Can Talk To), The Rest of Me,One Last Time, and Something Was Missing. It is a strong first effort, moving from the fun Chatroom Romance to some serious tales of love. Toby is at his best when speaking from his heart, as some of his more politically charged lyrics come out a bit stilted, which is not usually the case in his lyrics. It is a wonderful first effort, and I look forward to hearing more as he matures as an artist. On YouTube, there is also an interesting acoustic version of Madonna's Like A Prayer, singing with the star of High School Musical Tour, Arielle Jacobs.
