To celebrate the coming of the month of March, I thought I would celebrate the coming of Spring with song. The Spring Equinox is March 20th, and we can see if we can leave the snow behind in Winter. To mark March 1, 2014, I offer you a wonderful song by one of my favorites, Miss Julie London. In 1956, she released 'Calendar Girl', a collection of songs with the actual months in the titles. This is "Melancholy March", written by Dory Langdon Previn. This moody song is a great match for Julie's smoky delivery. Please enjoy Julie London singing "Melancholy March".
